Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

tulip fest

I went to the Wooden Shoe tulip festival yesterday.  I got there at sunrise and it was already crowded!  It was the day the hot air balloons flew and the 5K race was going on.  But it was beautiful!

It runs from 9-6 daily and is a mere $5 per person (Maximum $20 per car).  If you want to go early you have to buy the photographer’s pass ($20) but it’s well worth it if you like to get photos at sunrise.

A word of caution – the line to get in grows long on warm days!  If you plan to head out today, go now!
