Welcome Autumn

At 7:29 last night, the Pacific Northwest officially stepped into the Autumnal Equinox.  It is the season that signals a close of the warm, Summer days as we transition to the colder days of Winter.  OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The season of jewel colored leaves –

and a time to begin slowing our pace and resting while we watch the weather outside.

This is one of the many things I love about the Pacific Northwest.

What a gorgeous shot! Thanks for visiting my blog Pacific NW Seasons. Keep up the good work, I am not posting as frequently and I think it’s better to build and keep a following to post more often.

  2. Beautiful photos! I love the Pacific Northwest and I don’t mind the cold weather too much 🙂 I do need to buy some boots – I don’t like the bottom of my pants to be wet from the rain!

My hubby mentioned this morning how it looks like Autumn.
I’m debating whether I should get out warmer clothes.
Wondering if it’s going to warm up again.
