It’s the 64th year for the annual event in Tualatin, Oregon. In celebration of the tasty crustaceans that are found in many of the local rivers, this event is fun and relaxing.
Located at the Tualatin Community park, there is a $4 per person entry fee. Around the back side of the park are some commercial vendors and a few craft booths, as well as a small entertainment stage.
As you wind your way around the park, past the playground and the pony rides,
And the Legacy booth (telling you about sleep disorders and giving away sheep)
and the information booth,
you come to the food and beer area. We had to pay $5 for a plastic beer mug and then $4 per fill for beer or cider, but hey, it was fun! There were a variety of food booths to choose from,
Including the Crawfish Cafe (clearly the most popular by the long line! It went on way past the end of the photograph!).
As folks enjoyed their meal and their beverage, there was live music – a pretty darned good blues band too!
Bring your chair or just sit on the grass and plan to kick back, have a few beers and relax!!
But tomorrow is the last day for this year, so load your car now!
