Thoughtful Thursday

About Helen Fern

I live in the upper Willamette Valley with my amazing husband and four very spoiled cats - three adopted feral cats and one shelter baby. We have lived here since the dawn of 1991 and love every inch of the region.

  6. Your photo and quote are well-suited to each other. I hope others will get the message that one doesn’t need to have one’s way in everything to be content. I think one way to contentment is the practice of being thankful — paying special attention to what’s right instead of what’s wrong.

Amen Barbara!! I was once told by someone that they admired that I could be content in our circumstances (I’m a child care worker and my husband a laborer – not a huge cash flow) – But that was the best compliment anyone ever gave me.
