The Tulips are Coming – The Tulips are Coming!

The annual tulip festival at Woodburn’s Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is starting early this year!  It starts in just two weeks!

You will see rows and rows of beautiful, colorful tulips so don’t forget to bring your camera! IMG_6748

Speaking of cameras, if you come the weekend of April 11, come find me.  I’ll be there selling my photographs.

Every weekend there are craft booths, food, a cow train (for an additional $3 per child), pony rides, and more!

This little girl dropped to her knees crying because she wanted to ride the ponies…..

You can order tulip bulbs and buy a few bouquets for your house!

The cost is $20 per carload (that includes everyone in there!), admission and parking for the day.  There are picnic tables throughout.   Open 9-6 daily – It’s so worth it!

I never dig mine up unless I’m trying to thin them. Not sure if that’s what you’re supposed to do, but it works for me!! We have tulips and daffodils all over the place!! As much as I love winter, spring is so beautiful!
      Thanks for stopping by!
