The Hood to Coast Relay

Every August for the past 32 years, runners have flocked to run from Mt. Hood to the Oregon Coast – And this year is no different!

Today is the start of the 33rd Hood to Coast relay.  Teams of 12 people race from the mountain to the beach in two days.  My niece and her husband have run several years – the photos are theirs and, as you can see, the mood is not of winning but of having fun while raising money for cancer research.

Just one more great thing about the Pacific Northwest!
