The Enchanted Forest

If you have never taken your kids to the Enchanted Forest just south of Salem, you might want to check it out.   Although a little spendy (in my opinion), the kids seemed to have a great time!!

It was all hills – and this old body got quite a work out!!  But some of the paths were beautiful.  This one was along the storybook lane – past the castle…

I also enjoyed my stroll through the village.  You can go into the toy shop and see some interesting toys, carnival mirrors – and a scope to spy on your friends upstairs!  There is even a free lighted water fountain show!

Heading out of the village into western town brought slides, tunnels, gold panning (an extra fee), and a teepee to sit in!

As you head to the rides you pass the haunted mansion – pretty scary for little one, but fun for the older kids.  Both the mansion and the rides are an extra charge -but fun!

All in all it was a good trip.  Kids absolutely love it!  And you can bring your own lunches to save a little.

I grew up visiting Enchanted Forest as a kid and recently took my own again (yes, it is expensive, but watch for regular coupons circulated and don’t bother with rides IMO)… I don’t think it’s changed a bit in thirty years! lol I love the laser light show to chill out on hot days.

  2. What a fun tour through the Enchanted Forest, I would love to peak inside the hauted house, it reminds me of one my friends and I would pass all the time and even dared to go inside (during the day)!

Thanks for sharing on the #OMHGWW this past week!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
