Minto-Brown Island Park

On new year’s day we decided it was time to get out of the house and explore some place new, but we didn’t want to go far.  We found a park in Salem – Minto-Brown Island – that did just that!

Great walking and running paths (paved) run along the Willamette River and the Willamette Slough.  (Click here for the city’s trail map)

There is even a large duck pond (although frozen when we were there).

Fantastic!!! The images you add in the blog is really very nice. It also seems like a scary path usually we see in the movie. I will surely visit this Park.

  2. I like the bird shots, I like to try to capture pictures of animals when out in parks. Looks like a lovely place for a walk!

  3. Looks like a beautiful park, love the photographs of the birds! Thanks for sharing with Oh My Heartsie Girls Wordless Wednesday 🙂
