McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse

Stopped in at the Roadhouse in Hillsboro, Oregon.  This place is awesome!  The grounds are perfect for a picnic outside, or you can enjoy eating indoors.

From the parking lot to the pub, you have to walk through the forested grounds.  As you see, there are tables out under the trees.  It was a really relaxing place to be.  It’s also a wedding and party venue –

Once we got inside, our server, Josh, catered to our every need!  I asked if the Chipotle BBQ wings were gluten free, so off he went to find out, returning within minutes to let me know they were – and so that’s what I ordered!

And clearly they were delicious!
The decor is interesting.  We sat by the window and could see a number of light fixtures through the room, each one a little different.  That’s one of the fun things about McMenamins – they have unique art and interior design.

So if you are out and about near Hillsboro, stop by the Roadhouse – you’ll be glad you did!
