Raspberry

So what can you do with all those sweet little bites of goodness?

I like to freeze lots of berries – well, lots of any fruit and vegetable – for future smoothies or pancakes or muffins.  It’s nice to have bits of summer in the dead of winter!  But they are amazing right now!  So here is a refreshing idea for a hot day….

Raspberry lemonade

What you need:

  • Juice of one lemon (I like meyer)
  • 1/8 cup raspberry syrup (See below)
  • cold water
  • ice
  • extra sugar to taste

How to Do it:

Pour the lemon juice in the bottom of a 16oz glass.  Add the raspberry syrup.  Fill the glass with ice then top with cold water.  Stir gently.  If you like sweeter lemonade, add some extra sugar.  Garnish with raspberries and lemon balm (or mint)

Makes one glass
