Introducing a New Portland Artist

Meet Maureen – a retired daycare teacher who, after many years of teaching children that there are no mistakes in art and that a flower (or anything for that matter) can be drawn/illustrated in as many ways as the imagination can think of, decided to share her art work with others who may see things a little bit differently.

She says she loves mixing medium of all kinds until gets the feeling she wants on to the surface she’s working.  Each piece is unique and one of kind, taking hour upon hour to complete.  Each piece is mounted simply on black matboard.

Her hope is that her art will bring a smile, laughter, or inspire you to see the world a little differently.
