Farmer’s Markets – It’s Spring!

Asparagus-and-Mushroom-on-Gluten-Free-Toast1

Summer is the time most farmer’s markets open, but there are a few that are open in the winter months too.  And the asparagus and other cold weather crops are starting to be harvested!  (And I’ve even seen some early rhubarb!) Guess where I’m going this weekend? And I’ll have some recipes for you next week!

Every Weekend:

The Portland Farmer’s Market – open every Saturday from 8:30 – 2:00, located Portland State University at SW Montgomery and Park

Corvallis Indoor Market –  open every Saturday from 9 – 1, Located in Guerber Hall at the Benton County Fairgrounds  on W.  53rd St.

Open the first and third Saturdays:

Beaverton Farmers Market – open 10 – 1:30, Located at 12455 SW 5th Street, Beaverton

Downtown Winter Saturday Market, Oregon City – open 10 – 2 , on 8th Street at Main

  1. We are loving asparagus this time of year, I really like the fatter stems, more meat to them. We will surely be having them with Easter Dinner!!!

    Hope your doing well!!

  2. I believe our farmer market opens end of April in Bonners Ferry.

  3. I can’t wait for my produce stand to open up!!
