I visited on an overcast, Saturday morning (overcast is  normal early Summer weather here).  I got there about an hour after it opened and it was crowded.  I had to park about 1/2 mile away, but it was a pleasant walk.  In the past I’ve arrived 30 minutes before opening and parked within a block.  That gave me a half an hour to peruse the isles and check out everyone’s offerings and pricing before the starting bell sounded.  Once that bell rang, off I went, purchased my items and I was gone before the crowds.  I’m not sure which way I like better.  The people watching was fun!  Oh – and they have a “doggy daycare” area because they don’t want people walking around with their dogs.  I think folks found a way around that rule!

You can stop and have lunch at any of a variety of food service booths – like real oven fired pizza – (check out that gorgeous tiled oven!)

There are quite a few fresh cut flower booths –

  1. Oh my it would be so fun to shop in an outdoor market, those flowers are wonderful and the vegetables, fresh. They have farmers markets for just a few hours because it is so hot here in Vegas. And never flowers. Enjoy!! 🙂
