It was already assembled and had pine cones on it, but if you want to make it yourself, start with the green metal form and wire the branches on in a circular pattern –
Using wire or hot glue, place the pine cones and some cypress branches onto the form (all of which grow right in my yard!)
I cut each cluster off and gently pushed them into the wreath, one at a time, around the pine cones. You can use hot glue if you want, but I wanted to be able to remove them and use them again next year.
Once everything was where I wanted it, I placed a gold bow on the top (click here to go to Save on Crafts for a tutorial on making bows), carefully placed the ends and turned on the lights!
