Hard to believe that Christmas is just three days away! Where did the time go? And if you are looking for some amazing light shows to see before the holiday, here are three to check out – The Miracle of a Million Lights, Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show and the Christmas Festival of the Lights!
The Victorian Belle Mansion, a 2 1/2 acre Portland Historic Landmark, is covered with a million lights, now through December 23 (that’s tomorrow). For a small admission fee, you can tour the inside of the mansion built by David Cole for his wife (a pretty nice wedding gift), Amanda Laura Boone. You might recognize that last name. Amanda’s great grandpa was the one and only Daniel Boone!
Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show -at the Portland International Raceway)
A drive through light show that also collects food for the Sunshine Division. Admission is charged by the carload, so fill up that back seat and head on over! You only have until December 28 (that would be this Saturday) to see this amazing tour of lights!
The Christmas Festival of Lights – at the Grotto
The Grotto offers the largest choral festival in the world! There is a live petting zoo, entertainment outdoors in a tent and inside the cathedral.
There are several nativity scenes and lights everywhere! This event lasts until December 30 (one week left).
