Changing Seasons in the North West

It was a hot, dry summer this year.  But the season is changing now.  The cooler mornings bring layers of fog and brilliant sunrises.  The transition from Summer to Autumn is beautiful.

It’s been officially Autumn for a month now and we’ve had plenty of rain.

Tiny reflections from tiny drops of water on the branches.  Even the rain has a certain beauty to it – a quiet restfulness that reflects the mood of nature – resting as it prepares for the winter ahead.

The sunsets become more colorful and brilliant as the weather moves from hot to cool to cold….

And as it becomes colder, what could be more relaxing, more peaceful, than relaxing by the crackling fire while the thermometer drops outside.
