The Beautiful Oregon Coast

As those of you who read this blog regularly know, I love the beach.  My fantasy is to have a little cottage sitting right on the shore all decked out in nautical, beachy decor – a place for friends and family to come and just regroup and refresh.

Well, so much for fantasy.  I live in the Willamette Valley (and I love my house I might add) so the beach is a drive and a visit.  And just so you know why I love it, here are some pictures of my favorite beaches – some are recent, some not so much, but all represent the glorious tranquility of the beautiful Oregon Coast.

About Helen Fern

I live in the upper Willamette Valley with my amazing husband and four very spoiled cats - three adopted feral cats and one shelter baby. We have lived here since the dawn of 1991 and love every inch of the region.

I would love to drive the Oregon coast. I always wanted to visit Oregon and sadly have not. Thanks for the photos and words – lovely post.

So many pretty beaches. I love the ocean too, we are lucky to live 10 minutes away from one of the best beaches close to Lisbon, so we go there all year round.

  5. I hope you get your cottage by the beach someday 🙂 We are in St. Louis, so nowhere near a beach! I get to see the beach in Mexico though in July, I can’t wait!
