A Dry Year for Willamette Falls

A couple of years ago I shared the story of the Historic Willamette Falls.  The largest falls by volume in the Pacific Northwest, and yet, this year, each time I drive by they look almost dry.  I knew it had been a dry year, but this is amazing!

In May of 2014 the falls were rushing with water

The first week of June, 2016, you can see how low the water line in the river is.
